As a Professional Counselor I have worked in the helping field for the last 18 years, during which time I have learned a great deal, not only about people, but myself. I earned my Master of Science in Licensed Professional Counseling from Georgia State University in 2007, am licensed with the State of Georgia, and have been working in private practice ever since.
I find great joy in meeting individuals where they are emotionally and helping them move towards and accomplish their desired life goals and outcomes. My counseling approach is to provide relevant, practical, consistent, and most important to me, compassionate support. I work with individuals, both male and female, from ages 5 and up and I have a desire to promote healthy families; therefore, family counseling is a provided service. I have experience working with a variety of emotional issues such as depression, anxiety, attention and hyperactivity, addiction, anger, and more.
In hopes of providing affordable care I am on most of the major insurance panels, will consider a sliding scale fee if needed, and accept several payment options including cash, check, credit cards, and health spending accounts.
